GETTING HERE

To get here, you need to pass through Esquel or Bariloche. If you come from Buenos Aires, take a bus or plane to San Carlos de Bariloche. From the airport, take a taxi to the bus terminal. From the Bariloche bus terminal there are many daily buses to El Bolsón (two hours south). If you come from the south, you have 2 1/2 hours from Esquel. El Bolsón is in the southwest of the province Rio Negro at the 42° parallel, bordering the province of Chubut.
Once you get to El Bolsón, it is easiest and quickest to arrive at the farm by taxi (10 minutes and $1.50). You can use any taxi company. They all know us as ¨Chacra El Cielo¨. Walking takes between 45 minutes and an hour. We are at an altitude of 620 meters on the side of a tall, steep mountain and hiking up with backpacks and luggage is challenging (although some folks do it). Once you are relieved from the weight of your bags, hiking up and down to town is an enjoyable walk.
